early...looks like she's going to be cold the next while. Good news!!! Crappy thing one of my hunting partners jammed on out trip up north. Ah well looks like it'll be me & my cousin (just makes the cost a little more). Looking to go check out around Bonneyville too, anyone ever been there?

Cant say I have, what the heck is bonneyville?
Anywhoo, chased some does in circles for a couple hours with the bow tonight. Almost to the point where I might bring out a gun again. No bucks with them, which surprised me.
Skeeter reason I asked, was because if as a canadian, but non-bc resident you can hunt stones sheep, I know a couple spots that I could take yah, obviously free of charge as Im not a guide, but id havta shoot one too! lol
Whatcha huntin up north JD?

JD, sorry to hear about your buddy bailing. I've never hunted near bonnyville but I have spent some time in the Elk point area. There's some good chunks of buck for wildlife land southwest of elk point that i've seen some good whitetails in.
Early, sounds like you have a pretty good list. My only advice would be to bring lots of warm socks and layer well. You can always take clothes off if you're too warm. Last I checked the forecast for next week looks frickin' freezing.
Should be a good week for hunting
Good luck.

AG I have no clue what the regs read on Sheep in BC.
Early in, the only thing I didn't see but use is polyproplene glove liners.Thin and work very well to wear in combowith mitts, gloves, etcor on their own on a milder day. They don't hamper me in shooting bow or gun. I use Helly Hensen ones (blue colour), they can be bought in canada at Marks Work Warehouse for10 bucks CDN, if you don't have already or can't find locally. Other than that GTG
Best of luck.

ag...lookin for a booner whitetail. Bonneyville is kinda smack in the middle of big deer country, not far from my regular haunt. So I'm off tomorrow for who knows what??? I'm pretty much bringing all the gear and guns. Don't know what to concentrate on[:@]I think we'll just make it a pheasant day and leave the rifles cased unless we see a brute. Good luck to everyone headed out this weekend.

WHAT A BUCK sask congrats man. That is an awesome unique deer. Hope your mounting goes well
Wellll been busy busy here lost out in football to Aberdeen last weekend so i am done with that now, free up some after school time. Keep the good stories coming interesting reads to say the least. Ain't been out hunting in quite some time, thinkin bout buying a moose tag tonight and going out tomorrow for the day. It will be the last day but i have spent 30 dollars dumber ways. Seen my first booney of November this morning. Was driving to school this morning and the pig popped out of the ditch. I sat there and drooled on the steering wheel while he trotted into the bluff along the ditch and stared at me. Seems to be always deer close to that lil bush every morning so opening day i figure a guy is just goin to have to chase it. No film developed yet off my first deer waitin to fill up my film on my next deer then i will develop, sorry i am behind in the times. Good luck guys gotta run.

Just because its been brought up a couple times (maybe by myself) about what is open to Canadian residents, in BC:
Basically the out of province hunter must have a hunter host in BC, and then is able to purchase tags for, and hunt, and OPEN species only. No draws are able to go to out of province hunters - but that doesnt matter because depending upon the travel time, all species are open in different management units throughout our province.
hope that helps incase anyone was interested or has contacts here in BC!

Thanks Hia, can't wait to see pics of yours. Good luck getting that boonie. Boy I'm missing the second either sex tag right about now
I guess I'll just have to wait till the last week of the month.
