Near Sarnia ; with the rut now in full swing ,a seven pointer responded, to my calls, sent, and alot of noise that I presented ,before the climb up , not long after a perfect shot
so it happening out their don't give up.
Q-- will another buck take over this area ,should I leave the stand for my hunting partner.

From everything that I've been told if your buck to doe ratio is high enough a new buck already has moved in. Otherwise if you have too few bucks in your area the closest local buck will try to mate the does. If he can't do it now, they'll be back in heat in 28 days and he'll try then.
