Not many around Chainsaw...I beleive most of the population is located in southern part of the state. You need to call them in with a distress call...

When I lived in Texas, We called them and also used the endtrails of others for bait... ask any farmers around you if they have seen any before tring to hunt for them.. also Try state land down in South Jersey...

I live in the far south of the state and there are tons down here. I recomend finding all the roadkill you can and amassing it in one spot to bait them. and use predators calls too.

We have a load of them in Zone 2 and most people consistently see them in the NW portion of the state.
We have shot a few on the farm in Wantage and these were taken by just posting and moving around. i would suggest either hunting over bait (road kill) or trying rabbit distress calls.
Try hunting in Hamburg/Wawayanda/Stokes or you can drive up Rt 15/Rt 206 and knock on doors as many farmers don't want coyotes around.
Good luck,
Bob
