Did anyone notice the green tag. It's an internet tag. They are grey this season. Great buck!! Shoot Straight and often.

This thread did pop up out of nowhere! I posted this ages ago.

Eitherway, I guess it's official. It was declared a PA State Record Typical buck.

You can read up about it in the latest PA Game and Fish magazine. I don't know about driving deer in archery season, but hey, it must have worked for this guy.

Beautiful deer none the less.

I thaught I had seen that green tape before.

This buck was taken with a bow on November 12th in Allegheny County PA, a couple minutes from my house. The official score of this buck is.... Net Score (Typical): 178 2/8"!!! It grossed 185 1/8" with 6 7/8" deductions.

Hasn't made it to the PGC site but here is a link to the current record and this buck scores approx 3" more than the PA record with a bow! Also it's within the Top 5 Typical bucks ever taken by hunters in Pennsylvania.

What do ya think about that?!
