I think his day last year was the good one. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
Hope all is well lemond33.
Looks like a wet weekend, I may stick with the Jersey opener, or make the drive down, have to see how early I can wake up. I'd really like to hunt this weekend and next before the blackpowder opener puts the scare into them.
Looking at my own logs last night, they really don't show much of a difference in doe sightings in DE in Oct, but the buck sightings are definitely up in Sept and Nov, without adding them up, I'd say 25% or so higher in Nov per day. I guess that's expected. I agree it's not exactly a unexplained phenomenom, just increased human activity and mast crops, I sure get out every minute I can.
Bought one of them umbrellas you strap to the tree last night, any of you fellas use them? Hope I didn't waste 20 bucks.

Had a good day Saturday. Saw about a dozen in the morning, including one decent buck. Only saw two in the afternoon but they were both bucks. Had one come in and bed down about 30 yards out. He hung out from 5 'til 6:30 when a second buck came in. They scared off and fought off and on for 30 plus minutes. Once or twice they really got down to it!!! Both yearlings but were very serious in their efforts!
Done in Delaware for awhile! I'm heading to the mountains of Pennsylvania on Friday. Should return next Wednesday or so! Hold down the fort everyone! I'll check in when I get back!
