Anyone out there sitting in a tree the past few days? I am basicly here to bitch, because I can't stand the heat during hunting season. I haven't been out since Monday night. I saw two, one a small buck very close and the other I couldn't make out. I hope it cools down soon so I can get in the swing of things. MWX

I hate it I hate it!!!!!!!!! Too dam warm!!! Saturday will be 80+ and humid... Next week looks better MWX...I just hope it sticks around.

I've been out each morning and afternoon except Tuesday because I couldn't get out of work. It's been terrible. The bugs are driving me nuts, and this morning before work, I was sitting in my stand and felt my skin crawl. Actually, it was a bunch of ticks on my skin crawling. Seems like I got into a nest of those little buggers while walking in before first light. I pulled more than 50 of them off of my face and hands before calling it quits. It would be easier to take this mess if I was seeing some deer, but I've been skunked so far.

I been running the coonhounds & we see all the deer laying in the open .They aren't feeding much at night that I see. Tue night seen a wide 10 pointer on blackriver WMA. If you want to know the the buck are hiding on the WMA's ( I hunt them all at night) come along coonhunting . We is the BEST bucks. Hands down the best racks are on Blackriver!!
