Same deal for me. I have a 10 day vacation starting tomorrow. If I get a deer with the ML I will switch to grouse/rabbit/squirrel hunting for the rest of the trip.

Can't wait, I leave tonight.

Good luck with your season.. our doe season starts in two weeks, so I am getting all geared up for it. After that is a small wait during which we have archery season. Then we have a modern season, a second doe season, and finally the muzzleloader season. I just take advantage of the gun season and use different muzzleloaders for the different seasons... It makes for a more enjoyable hunt for me..

Glad to see someone is hunting. I live in Arizona and we have to get drawn to hunt. I did not get drawn for anything this year so no hunting for me this year. I guess I will have to be satisfied with making holes in paper until next year. New flintlock has not been shot yet.
