Ron- Yeah not many deer but they can be brutes in weight when you do find them. Berlin area is about an hour from the family camp up near Colebrook. Plymouth/ Campton area is nice it's about an hour and 15 North of me. Our total by all methods kill is around 10,000 each year. Total herd is estimated around 80,000. many folks up here go years without seeing a deer in season let alone get one. Thats why I have decided to concentrate out of state and plan to relocate. Our Lisc is expensive as well fro residents. I think rifle, muzzle and bow total to around $75.00. Break it down by deer seen let alone taken and it isn't worth it. Even harder to keep the little ones interested when they don't see them. Last year I hunted the old family farm in that area of WV and fell in love. I'd move in a heartbeat but step-daughter is 14 and not thrilled at the idea. 4 yo boy is dying to go to " Wes Ginny to deer and turkey hunt" Can't wait until he has another few years under his belt to take him for real versus strolls in the woods. sent you my e-mail.

NH I think my non-res license for rifle only was like $70. just about 4 or 5 years ago, it's about the cheapest price of any non-res I buy. WV was 113 the last time I bought one a few short years ago. NH is rugged terrain like WV. WV would be the biggest state in the country if it was flattened out.......
