Default Do deer like red acorns?

I know deer love white acorns but how about the red acorns?I've tasted red acorns and they seemed bitter to me,but I'm not a deer.

Default RE: Do deer like red acorns?

Deer prefer white oak acorns over red, but they eat the red usually when the whites run out or in times when there aren't any whites. I had deer feeding on red oak acorns Saturday morning all around my stand. There are no white oak acorns aroudn here this year.
