MikeE, if My hunting experiences dont interest you, dont read em. Personally, I haven't seen much of Mr Slinsky's work but based on what I've seen I realy don't want to see more.
I'll admit though that my best spots are private with just a very few allowed in.

Thank you, you've proved my point. Don't follow PGC and Gary Alt like lemmings. Read the many posts on this board from PA'ers about seeing very little amounts of deer this past season. Those who have access to private land do much better than us public land hunters. Hunters in your situation are clammoring for longer seasons and more tags, to hunt a dwindling deer herd. 1.6 million deer? Prove it Gary. And tell me, don't you want to know who
is financing those deer population studies???

btbowhunter, i know tionesta well. do you ever head up river to my kneck of the woods?? along route 337 is a lot of ANF that people don't realize is there. also i know of a few locations on the other side of the river that most people think are SGL's when they are actually ANF. heck i lived here for 6 years now and have had camps up here my whole life and i just found out about them last year.... it's amazing!! i used to hunt along queen and triple6 quite often as well.
