I' ll be hunting with the wife in Lycoming co. for the opener tomorrow, but after that I' ll be dividing up my time between Clinton and Centre. Good luck to all, and be safe! Make sure you count all the points TWICE before you pull the trigger!

PAHunter86,
Keep thinking there's nothing to hunt here. That's the way we like it. I have seen some of the biggest bucks in my life come out of this county. Last year my cousin took a non-typ 13 point with three main beams and this year I have already seen a 14 point typical with at least a 24 inch spread and 12" g2's. I hunt all over the state and the farm fed deer we have down here often outweigh those that I have taken upstate. In fact my friend just harvested a doe this year that dressed out at 190. We may not have as many woods to hunt down here but I think the deer are bigger and better.

bearklr, just curious, what part of Lancaster are you seeing these deer? I've hunted state game lands #46 about 4 times now and have only seen does. Oh yeah, 46 is up near Lebanon (borders Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area)
