Default NYS deer opener 11/17....

So who is already either go tthe gear together or is going to spend the weekend on pins and needles?? I' m going to be in Pine Bush, Ny (Orange County) with 2 buddies. There are some decent bucks on the property and we just hope that the weather and huting gods cooperate.

Good luck, shoot straight and be safe.

Bob

Don' t remind me! I was just getting used to the quiet woods![:' (]

O well, I' m ready anyway, bought a riffled slug barrel for my remi and man is it awesome! Well worth ten dollars a box of sabots for the accuracy I' m getting.

Got the gear packed and going to spend saturday running errands for the wife
and will be up in samsonville, a little north of you on sunday. Got a few spots picked out but my opening day stand is ready and if we get alot of guys hunting the state land then its a steady train of deer running right by my stand to " safety" HAHAHAHA. Take care and be safe.

Robmack--I met a guy thru this forum that is from Pine Bush and we are meeting right off exit 119 of rt 17w at 5.30am this Monday. We bowhunted a few times in the area and my stand was only about 1/4 mile from the highway. I' m not 100% sure as to what property we will be hunting on the opener.

Let me know how you do. Good luck.

Bob
