No efforts to learn about and improve the deers habitat?
No efforts to develop a relationship with a landowner to secure the right to hunt?
No effort to acquire some land to help support the wildlife you pursue?
No effort to make thing happen as opposed to hoping that things will happen?
Well dear bird, it appears that you get what you "pay" for LOL
But take heart! SOMEONE has to hit the lottery! Right?

The man has put alot into his life, his land and his hunting. I may not agree with some of his past hunting experiences, but I know he's no slouch when it comes to getting the job done.

I know a little bit about Larry and can pretty much assure you that you are way off on all of those thoughts.

But please note that all of those were in the form of a question in response to what he posted. He was the first to suggest that I buy my bucks but he has yet to explain what he meant by that
However, if he does do all those things as you say, he "buys" his bucks just like he's claimed that I do. Maybe he just needs to be a "smarter shopper"

Was out in Illinois planting food plots on our lease and doing a little scouting this past weekend. Sat nite at dusk we saw 14 bucks together in the same beanfield. Two were 150+ class two more were 130+ and a couple more were close to that. Saw one that was missing a side that would have made him 24"+ inside if both antlers were symmetrical and intact.
Sun nite we saw 18 bucks in that same field and one was an OMG! BOONER! three more 150+ and 3-4 in the 130's
Looks like a banner year coming up in my little corner of the midwest

BTW. I have posted on several occasions all the work I do to improve the habitat on our land but you choose to ignore it. The big difference is our land is open to all of the neighbors and their land is open to our group. So, once again you are flat out wrong about the efforts I put forth to improve the habitat for the deer.

Well now, you two buffoons have gone and put the "ass" in assume! The crow is in the roaster once again boys!!!!
You haven't got the smallest clue about the property I hunt. LOL!
What was it in my post that fit your definitions?
So, does everyone who hunts private land "buy" their buck?
Does it have to cost dollars to fit your definition or are time and effort included in your definition of "buying a buck"?
Is it just the guys who go out of the state?
Does it include those who bought their land with hunting in mind?
How about the guy who has a buddy with private land?
Will you be having your humble pie ala mode?
