It's very easy to convince kids that hunting is fun when the mentor knows how to hunt and puts the kid into situations where he or she sees deer.
The simple fact is the demographics of our society hasn't changed significantly since 2004, but junior licenses sales are still declining despite all the youth mentored programs. You can't convince kids that hunting is fun when they go for days without seeing a deer no matter how many smiley faces you put on.

Try that in 2G with 10 PS DPSM. When was it easier to show junior hunters enough deer to keep them happy ? Was it when we had 1.6M PS deer in 2001 or was it when we had 900K PS deer in 2007?

It may have been easier for the one day punkin army to see deer in 2001 but the deer are still there for those willing to HUNT and the deer are much bigger and better than in 2001

How much bigger are the spikes and Ys in 2G? How much bigger are the does and fawns? Why didn't the fawn breeding rates improve and why did statewide breeding rates decrease if we have bigger ,healthier deer with a better age structure and breeding ecology?

I never had a problem with those guys until they started to declare that the deer were all gone,the hunting sucks and the PGC should go down in a ball of flames.Anything worth having is worth working for.
