Why do you and it seems a lot of PGC supporter, dislike the one, two and three day hunters? From my point of view, their money is just as important as your and mine to the PGC.

No dislike involved on my part, as they're an important part of our ranks. Know lots of folks whose involvement amounts to the first few days, then they're done for the year. For some, that's all they want out of it. For others, it's possiblyall they can afford?

Only problem I have with some of 'em, are the ones that can no longer hop into their favorite standand see lots of deer opening days, like they may have done 10 years ago...then grumble the rest of the year about it.

Never figured anyone "owed" melots ofdeer, whether I hunted two days, or all two weeks? If the deer don't come to me, I go to them.

It's very easy to convince kids that hunting is fun when the mentor knows how to hunt and puts the kid into situations where he or she sees deer.
same as above comment for but!$ck as it is for BlowingTightBowhunters on his comment.....................
Does Mommy know you talk like that on her computer?

I never had a problem with those guys until they started to declare that the deer were all gone, the hunting sucks and the PGC should go down in a ball of flames.Anything worth having is worth working for.
Hunting squirrels isn't worth having around.i agree...........I guess you have a problem with me because I am one of those guys who talks about pgc and deer. what ya going to do about that problem from hunters like us? nothing you can do other than deal with it and stand back and watch us take over the pgc with lawsuits to show your minority group you are all wrong. get over it,it's not going away and there is nothing anyone on here can do to stop it.we might give you a problem but we dont seem to have a problem with you all when we out number the so called pro hunters. 2 or 3 day hunters vrs the die hard take a week+ vacation to hunt. I say 85% to 15% so called pro hunters. and don't give us that crap you didn't have time to scout or hunt. you allready been called out on that bs lie.

when it is truthful. but i guess your the only one who is allowed to talk like that? you can't help the way you act. i can. i think of what i say unlike you who can't do that.you along with the rest of the pgc supporters on here are mean people. you are all ignorant and selfish. What you all post is from your hearts. mine is not, mine are just words made up to compete with your mean and selfish ways. do i mean what i say? 99% of the time no, unlike yours and the rest of the people who slander others on this site but mean it. You are the reason along with others who make up lies because your all selfish arrogant and mean on the inside and do not like fellow hunters who have a reason to complain. it is like you all are saying this is the best and there is no other way and ignore all the facts presented to you. We are not your children and we have a voice and it will continue to stand for the majority of us useless worthless hunters who out number you pro hunter and wanna bag a WR deer. we 1 or 2 day hunters are the jolliest of the hunters who care about one another.not just me and i.........sad that peoples hearts are really that black, especially hunters who use to share the woods and help out others.

Anything worth having is worth working for.
When hunting becomes work, that is when I'll quit.

Are the deer worth more now that fewer hunters are successful?

I guess that's the difference between guys like you and guys that are happy to put a little effort in to it.

When I have to work for something, success always feel better.

What BS LIE HAVEI BEEN CALLED OUT ON

quote:

ORIGINAL: DougE

Bob,I don't brag about shooting alot of doe.I'm simply stating a fact that the hunting is not anywhere near as bad as guys claim it is.I also don't have alot of time to hunt. The only vacation day I took to hunt this year was the first day of rifle season.I was busy and couldn't even take a day off in bear season.I hunt saturdays and I may blow off one afternoon every couple of weeks in bow season.I have less time to hunt and scout than the majority of people. In fact,it's a rare saturday that I can hunt the entire day.

This year I killed 4 doe and a buckwhere I live. It's an overpopulated disaster and not nearly enough deer are getting harvested.I do all of my rifle hunting on publicland in 2G.I hunted the first day and first saturdayin Moshannon state forest.I could have killed legal bucks both days but ended up killing one doe.I saw a grand total of four hunters in those two days.I hunted Elk state forest on the last day.I saw another legal buck and harvested one of the eleven doe thatI saw.I didn't see another human or bootprint all day.Last year and the year befor it took me three days each year to kill my dmap tags on public land.Once again,I saw plenty of deer and almost no other hunters. You love to criticize me,yet you've never stepped foot anywhere near these places. If I CAN CONSISTANTLY FIND AND KILL DEER ON PUBLIC LAND,WITH MY VERY LIMITED TIME,ANYONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO.

I've said it before and I'll continue to say it.I feel no guilt filling tags in areas that have either poor habitat or habitat that's just starting to recover. If I knew ofplace that had excellent habitat and few deer,I'd lay off the doe.So far,I've yet to see a place like that.

Shoot me your e'mail address and I'll send you a picture of a truck load of bucks taken in 2G on the last thursday of the season.I hear people griping from time to time butmost of the hunters I know that hunt around here aren't crying and complaining like some on hear. Most agree that there's certainly less deer but the guys I hunt with aren't feeling that their hunting experience has diminished.

For someone who didn't have time to scout or look for places to hunt how did you know those deer was there? Didnt you say you went on a lot of tours with the PGC and also for PennState for research? Yet you claim you never scouted or looked. Now that is horse pucky to say you didnt have time considering your involvement as much as you talk about knowing areas and your time spent afield. How did you know those deer was there if you didn't scout the area before? Let me take you to a place in 2G and say there ya go? Ok, just plain luck is all it was for them deer to be there without scouting. 100% luck is all it was from your statements of no scouting involved.

There is a big difference between putting force a little effort and turning hunting into work. As you know I do all the driving for our group, maintain all the tree stands and do all the scouting, so I do put force the effort and through no fault of my own the quality of our hunting has decreased significantly.

I never stated that i don't scout.I stated that I have less time to hunt than most people.I also stated that I didn't take any days off of work, which is true.I scout year round when I get the chance.
