Sproul, show me where the PGC is pushing inlines in the late season.that's what you posted earlier.
If it can positively impact the overrall harvest, you can bet it's on their table. Just like crossbows, bazookas, and proximity mines.
yes, it is something that the IN-LINE hunters want.

a lot of hunters did not even see deer in gunseason and sold their flintlocks to get a in-line and some were never any good at flintlock anyhow, just like the new crossbow hunters could not shoot a compound or recurve.

so, it is the rumble by HUNTERS that want it and pgc i dont believe care if you use them.

goes back to what i said, someday you may use any weapon from archery to late archery .

remember, the talk is we are losing hunters, so if you can hunt for 5 months with any weapon, thats what will happen.

The point you a missing,is that along with loosing hunters they are loosing dollars. Buy using your logic we would not need to buy archery licenses,or black powder licenses, take my word for it the P.G.C. is not going to do anything that cost them any money.

sproul,at this time the PGC isn't pushing for inlines the second season. There is however talk amounst certain groups to persue that possibilty.I think after crossbows are passed second season inlines will be next on the agenda.

bow, to me, its adding more hunters to late season and more doe killed with a better weapon.

acuatlly, in-line is like rifle we use in regular season, scope and all.

they can shoot to 200 yards.

its just MORE killing of doe when so few are left in wmu2g,

its already taking its toll in early oct season.

we just dont have deer for all these seasons and weapons used.

if we did, i would have no problem with in-line/crossbow but both will add to more deer killed when so few are left....

i was dreaming last night ,what could possibly the PGC/DCNR do in future to really wipe deer out once and for all.[:@]

now they are looking at crossbows for all seasons and in-lines for late flintlock season.

already you can use your in-line and rifle for 1 week in oct archery season, now here comes crossbow.

here is what i feel WILL HAPPEN.

you will be flooded with,WE ARE LOSING HUNTERS, WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING,PETA IS WINNING, COM,ON HUNTERS LETS GET WITH IT.

WE MUST DO SOMETHING FAST

well, here is my prediction.

you will be able to use ANY weapon from first of archery to end of the late muzzleloader season.

crossbows, recurves, compounds will all be put in attic.

in-lines/flintlocks will see reduced use.

rifle will be what is used from archery to late muzzleloader.

you will have 5 months to hunt for deer with ANY WEAPON.[:@]

dont think for minute its not being looked at, the way it will happen is how its being done now, let 1 week of gun in archery, then 2 weeks, then 3 weeks, you get my point.

your dream sounds all WET!

i hope i am wrong but pa. is following other states and it could happen.

remember, they are out to get more money and this would get more hunters in woods and buying licenses etc.

you may see a buck,doe, permit, goose permit,bear, fox,coyote,turkey,rabbit, squirreal,grouse, pheasant,cougar,woops, not that one.

you get my point of where they have already gone and may go farther.
