Only a desprate man wouldfoolishly use a tag on a road kill. I guess some guys have no limits when it comes to getting their buck.

Without a doubt a trophy hunter like you and your ilk would have told that farmer to go pound salt because you would never give up your buck tag for the good of the sport. You would rather see that cripple stumble around for hours in full view of non-hunters rather than do the right thing. i guess you really are a low life hypocrite who would demean a fellow hunter for doing the right thing for the image of sport hunting in PA.
Maybe if you spent less time trying to undermine scientific deer management you'd learn enough about hunting to actually be able to harvest a deer that isn't crippled or doesn't still have milk on it's lips.

so you still havent answered the question. When was the last time you actually took a buck that had antlers and all his parts before you shot him?
Ever?

We are still discussing PENNSYLVANIA arent we? That being the case, I see science playing very little role in hunters dissatisfaction. Since the "extremes" go far and above any supportable "science" and have everything to do with ecoextreme fruitcakes being on the boc thanks to our rediculous commissioner appointment system.
Wanna talk harvest fellas?
Ive probably killed more buck (and turkey, and coyote, and bear...and...in bothPa and other statesthan both you guys (who like to pick on those less successful?)put together, most deer with bow,
yet I still can see what is miserably failing with our deer program. The two are completely separate issues and one shouldnt be blinded one way or another based solely on their own success or lack of.

But only a fool that doesn't even know how to spell corporate would assume that the buck i tagged was a roadkill. It was shot by an irresponsible hunter that broke both back legs just above the dew claws.

The answer remains the same. I harvested a legal buck 3 years ago . Only a fool would base his evaluation of the quality of a fellow hunter on when he harvested his last buck. Some of us have matured beyond the trophy hunting competition stage of hunting, apparently you haven't.

I truly think the sport is over in PA. Hunter and deer numbers will drop like a rock and eventually very few hunters will be around. The PGC just doesn't understand how successful hunters are in PA. The kill #'s are dropping slowly, but the real problem is the qty of deer around. Virtually none on public land for miles. We drove SGL for 2 straight days all day bear hunting and not one of us saw a single deer. Years ago we saw a lot of deer. They are just plain gone.
I have 30 years of hunting that has recently gotten to its worst stage, hopefully the next 30 will improve a little. I think my only chance is if the kids all quit and the 1x/year guys all quit and their is just not enough guys in the woods to fulfill the current mission of the PGC.
