sticking with AR but not HR. The PGC just doesn't understand the slobs that will kill every deer in a woodlot they can find. Drives for hours over the same square mile to kill every one.

Im with you...time for adjustments on the HR, but AR must stay.

Not only does the PGC understand that mentality , they encourage it. they wanted a 50% reduction in the herd at any cost.

HR was needed in many WMU's when instituted but it now needs some serious tweaking.

Like him or hate him, gary Alt ha the ability and the cojones to make changes in a timely fashion and he was willing to change directions as they went along. Now that he got thing started and ran out on us, it seems that the PGC has returned to it's traditional resistence to change a course once it has been set. My bet would be thatALt would have done some of the needed changing by now.

I'll point to the staff resistance to the pilot program changing the concurrent season buck only for the first 5 days in 4 WMU's as an example of the PGC's general tendency to be very slow to change even when an abundance of evidence supportingthe need forchanges exists.

Wrong again . Alt specifically stated he preferred an over kill and that is what he got. the forest habitat in 2F ,2g and 5c is still rated as poor so Alt would be still promoting further herd reduction.

Please provide the documentation proving that Alt "specifically preferred an overkill"

No one other than Gary Alt can say for certain what Gary Alt would be doing with PA right now and he aint talkin. As always, your conclusion is nothing more than your own speculation crafted to fit your agenda

You really are a total ignoramus if you don't know that Alt favored an over kill and I am not about to waste my time finding the quote to satisfy a mind numbed robot like you. You haven't provided anything to support your asinine claims,so there is no reason for me to honor your demands.
