ok guys i need some help.........

a freind convinced me to get a bow tag for ny.we are hunting state land and we hunted all weekend and didnt even see a deer or jump a deer on are way in and out all weekend.im telling you i think i wasted $110.so my question to you peeps is where is a good place to go?or is anyone looking for a hunting partner?keep me posted thanks

Depends on where in ny you want to hunt.

If I can remember correctly, Town of Hoosick is in section 4 (Rensallaer County). Tibbets Forest (runs along intersections of NY Rt7 and US 22) has a pretty good concentration of deer. It does hold some bucks, but is a pretty good tag filler if you want freezer meat.

YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO HUNTING ON WATERSHED PROPERTY. THERE IS USUALLY A GOOD DEER HERD ON THESE PROPERTIES. ESPECIALLY IN SOUTHERN NY.
