Now they have all dropped . The deer must be chowing them down now ,

I'll be up at camp (2G) this weekend. I'll take a look around, but down home here in Indiana Co., my front yard is full of both red oak and chestnut oak acorns. The squirrels have been busy carting them off. It was agood mast year here this year....plenty of nuts of all kinds, wild cherries, apples, blackberries and raspberries, etc....

Acorns seem to be down a bit here in 2B and 2D. Plenty falling on my new steel roof at camp in 2F though

I was out fishing about 3 weeks ago here in central NY and the acorns were dropping along the water edge like freakin rain! Landing on the metal docks and steel roofs. It looked to be a good crop.

Not much matter to me I do not ever remember seeing any acorns left by the time bow season starts in the southernteer anyhows!

Was out walking my favorite game lands this morning. Was looking for an early season stand site, ie acorns, walked all the oak ridges and found little to no acorns. Either on the ground or in the trees. Even the Beech nuts were scarse. I'm in 3C.
