RE: Deer Hunting in Pa questions?
buy a backtag in July then ask BTBowhunter to take you on a guided hunt of his hunting areas. He's one of the very few whom claim public land hunting anywhere in the state is as good as it ever was.

Best of luck to you goyard74.
You'll find that most PA hunters are willing to help a fellow hunter. I assume your brother has some honey holes lined up but if he doesn't, it may take a little off season homework to find a good hunting spot. Sorry that I'm on the other side of the state and I don't know much about the area you plan on hunting but there are a lot of guys here who seem to do well in that neck of the woods. Since it's been awhile since you hunted here, you may find that old haunts have far fewer or possibly many more deer. Wherever you hunt, it is now much more likely that once you see a buck, it will be a good one
