jerseyboy, I fish right before IBSP. I think it is 24 ave but just before the park entrance. I am getting some nice blues but last time out I missed 3 fish plugging. One was huge as my plugging rod was doubled over and thought it was going to break. I do use lighter tackle for the fun but that one fish had me worried a bit. I use the same site as you are looking at Betty and nicks and get my info from them. I Plan on trying ocean beach down that way and see what I come up with. I do agree it makes it tuff as which to do. BUt if I can I love surf and turf. LOL I will let you know how it goes on the beach.

NJ_Bowhntr, Will do I haven't been out as my wife hurt herself and needed me to be home with her but hope to go out and see what happens. I will keep you all informed.

I hunt in zone 2 and the past two times out I'v seen 14 bucks and 30 or 40 does. Last week they were chasing, this week they are paired up. I actually saw a big 6pt and a doe in the act.

THE AREA OF ZONE 4 I HUNT MYSELF AND OTHER HUNTERS SEE NO SIGN OF DEER INTERESTED IN RUTTING. AT 1ST I THOUGHT MAYBE THE BUCKS ARE GAY, OR MAYBE NEED VIRAGA, BUT WHEN I SPOKE TO OTHERS THEY CLAIM ALSO BUCKS DONT WANT TO KNOW NOTHING.

Zone 2 is heating up. I saw 3 bucks in various stages of rut today. I watched a 3pt make 4 rubs while I kept him around through grunting. I saw a small racker chasing a doe and a spike buck scent checking some does. The spike actually licked my scent wick!

Lots of does on our lease and really not enough bucks to get a strong rut but it is definitely happening.
