We have the mule deer here in NY - they just obviously hang with the cougars so as to go undetected until their next photo shoot.:D

Meaning,
Even if a cougar was chewing on some of you guys, you would still argue that they don't exist. Some of you asked for photos and one was submitted by a reputable person and sworn to. The photo gets shredded for it's quality, I get a decent rendition of it and now some are saying that no matter what quality of picture is shown, nobody can actually prove that it was taken in PA. Well, that is true. No sense arguing. If any of the posters here feel the need to argue, go home and scare up a wife to argue with. We are wasting keystrokes. Who really cares if you skeptics believe or not. |

Sorry - I can never remember if the DEC released the cougars or if it was the insurance companies - although I am pretty sure the ins co's brought the coyotes.

OT. REally OT.
ORIGINAL: livbucks Housecats do not have round abdomens like a cougar does. Housecats and bobcats have abdomens that appear to distend lower than the rest of their bodies. |

Housecats and cougars have a definate shape difference in their bodies.
A cougars abdomen is shaped almost perfectly round and can even appear to be skinny compared to the rest of their torso. Housecats do not look this way, at all. Bobcats are very similar to housecats. A cougar will have a long neck whereas a bobcator housecat has a short neck. |

wind, you will miss because you will be froze solid, like i was when i saw it. i never in my life saw animal in pa. woods as i saw that day. at first, i thought it was monkey, orange one running.then reality sank in.he had go-tee, small head, big shoulders, long tail at least 2 ft,large body and a orange tint to it. you ever see how a dog will tuck his rear end in and run when you are playing with him.THATS eaxactly how that animal was running when i saw it.tail twisting out the back at least 1 and 1/2 inchs thick round.i know what i saw after got down saying to my buddy, WHAT THE H WAS THAT,ha. take care
