    Default Game tags on public land in KS
    Why can't you use your game tags to take a doe on public ground in KS? From what I have been told you can only use them on WHA only.

    The game tags can't be used on "department lands", and WIHA aren't considered "department" lands, they are leased lands. The game tags can be used on private land! I'd guess that they see it as a "safety" issue, as far as using them on "department" lands!
