I went to apply for a concealed weapons liscense.
It is going to cost $300.
That is classes & liscence.
Is this the case every where in Ohio?
Or, am I getting ripped off here?

At least you have the option of getting a CCW permit in your State. [:'(]

I do not think it costs that much. Are you sure that you are not paying for the training rather than the license? If so, even that amount is too steep.

I would do some research before you pay any money for this. If the state charges a certain fee, then someone cannot charge less. This sounds very fishy to me.

As a matter of fact, I was at my local gun store two days ago and they didn't even have any of the necessary paperwork that was required for your license yet. I believe that you have to get your training first, then go to the sherriff's office to get your license. I may be wrong about this, but that is what my understanding was.

Regardless, do more research before you get ripped off!
