NOT TOO COLD BUT ABOUT 25 TO 30 MPH WINDS MAKES THE 40 DEGREE FEEL COLDER THAN IT SHOULD BE. NO DEER MOVEMENT. ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY LUCK????

I shot a nice button buck this morning. I was only in my blind for about 5 minutes. I hit him right behind his shoulder and it came out of his neck...He dropped, spun in a circle and ran ten yards and was done. I didn' t realize it was a buck until I rolled him over to gut him.

Most of the guys I spoke with had reports of very little deer movement.

Got an 8pt on Monday. Cold and windy for sure but we had a fair number of hunters in the woods moving the deer around

I killed a buck in bow season, and didn't get out for gun...due to the birth of my son last week...but most guys I work with saw tons of deer and a few connected on deer that I'd call monsters.
