and then last night I saw my first shooter buck, but by the time I saw him, he was too far away.

The buck movement seems to be picking up with the cold snap.

I saw a shooter 8 pt sat night
My dad saw "the biggest buck he's ever seen in his life" he said: "Main frame twelve, way past the ears, and bigger than jake's last year", that one scored in the 140s
My uncle saw a couple 2.5's s a 5pt and a 6pt

Good to hear Kyle, I will be down doing the Ramsey County Bowhunt this weekend and it's does only. I hope I don't see a huge buck. But I think this cool weather is not suppose to last. Up near 70 again soon. I hope they are wrong. Good luck Bud.

The wolves must be around my place again. Haven't seen crap for deer in the last couple of weeks. Happens evertime the Timbers come wandering through. And the A$$holes in our state building just kept them on the endagered list. I guess I shouldn't complain though, we have a good population of deer even though the wolves thin them out occasionally. Did see a monster bear track last weekend though.

Zilch for us so far. Are you mostly hunting evenings/mornings? Are you guys hunting near oak trees? Any trends?

I got a doe monday night.

i've been seeing quite a few deer. almost always eating acorns. i did see a shooter buck using a licking branch and making a scrape. that was really cool. I never see scrapes this time of year, much less watch the buck make it!

I've been out about 7 times so far I've seen plenty of does I even pulled back on one that was about 5 yards broadside I just wanted to see if I could get drawn without getting busted. Heading out tonight hope to see a little bucktivity.
