I'm planning on hunting the upcoming deer/firearm season and have never hunted in IL before. I was planning on hunting the Crawford County Park. Is anyone familiar with this park and can you share any info as to deer population, buck quality, hunting pressure?? Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated...

That is one county up from me and i pass not far from the park while going back and forth from Illinois to Ohio. I can't vouch for the park, but that part of the country has plenty of deer, since i see a hell of a lot of them along the highway in that specific area. I wouldn't count on nailing a monster buck though. I think that there are a couple of fellows around who hunt much closer to the park and could tell you more.
