Illinois shotgun, blistering cold, who is hunting will the deer be moving?

Whats everyones take on the cold weather. Where I am at there is about 4" of snow and ice on the ground. Supposed to be blistering cold and 10 degrees at 5 am. Is it worth it or better off to sleep in? Who thinks the deer will be moving, really torn about getting up and heading to the woods for the Illinois shotgun hunt.

Me too! Only I don't have a place to shotgun hunt here so I'd be in Indiana Sat/Sun. I expect I'll try. On monday I'll be bowhunting again in IL.

Got out in the woods today and had nobody in any neighboring property. Weather was perfect and had a few does in front of me for a while. With a large Doe in the freezer decided to take one of the yearlings after not seeing anything the last few days. Dropped her in one shot and she will make perfect table fair for the next year. They will be moving tomorrow A.M. but can't make it out. Wind will not be blowing like they say and I think it will be best hunting of the year!! Good Luck to all and hope to see pics of everyones Deer!!! May a 150 plus show his face in front of everyone!!
