Conceal and Carry fails again.
This time by 2 votes, the 2 dems that voted first time changed there vote
on the veto override. Ive emailed both to get there reasons.
Probably along party lines is my guess.
1 damn Dem was right near me in Pleasant Prairie. I partially blame
myself due to I voted Dems in the last election like a IDIOT!

as a seven year army vet and combat infantryman i am disgusted with those voting against this bill, thereby denying me the inherent right to protect myself and loved ones. i would like to see the governor lead by example and not have protective entourage around him!

Same thing here in KS. Our Dem. Gov. which is usually unheard of here in KS. Vetoed the conceal carry bill a few years back. Once we get a real Gov. in office who is a Republican i think we will get one on the books. We are one on 4 states without a conceal bill in the books.

Sportsmen can vote for Democrats because hunting isn't the only issue out there. I'll let Republicans protect myguns, but I want Democrats to protectmyeducation. Also, do the "Country Club" Republicans care about gun rights anymore than Ted Kennedy?

FYI- In Missouri, a conceal and carry proposal failed in a statewide referendum a few years back (largely because of St. Louis and Kansas City) under a Democratic administration. Recently, the state House and Senate voted to get a conceal and carry law on the books. This all occurred under a different governor, I believe. Just throwing that out there.
