Hey Steve, just trying to wet the appetite for an Illinois Bowfishers Ohio River outing.

We were on the OH that same Saturday night running a guided trip we auctioned off. Same results...tons of silvers, then bigheads later in the night and grassies everywhere in the flooded grass. I gotta tell you...I was not liking the fact that all I could do is put others on those fish and not shoot any myself!

I can feel your pain Robin. Not only were the Grassies plentyful but they weren't your typical river Grassies, they actually had some large bellys and broad backs on them, not the typical long subs with little poundage. See the photo below of what we so typically take on the Ohio.

It's working Rob! But I'd only go if Mark get's his boat ready. There's no way I'm bringing my little boat on an unfamiliar river. I'd end up down-stream faster than I'd like.

Maybe Uncle Dave would let me use his boat again. Boy, was that nice! I even had Christine on it and I still enjoyed myself!

For that trip my boat would be ready.
