Default Fox River bowfishing

Went floatin down the Fox today. Was using my buddy's canoe.I launched at Silver Springs and went down about a mile or so. I only got these 2, missed 4 that I should've had, and only saw maybe a dozen altogether.

The smaller one was full of eggs, so I guess they're getting ready to spawn. Can't wait to see what Hennepin looks like. One week to go!!

Very cool! If you want to do a float trip through Montgomery/Oswego this weekend let me know. I've got a canoe that needs some carp slime in it.

That sounds like a plan! Give me a call. Can't have too much carp-slime in your canoe.

The UBI regional events are for everyone. They are meant to be a way that non-(UBI)members can see what a wonderful bunch of misfits we are. So unless Jason has other plans for this event, It is open to all. Hope to see ya'll there.

Christine,

Like Kendall said...it's open to whomever want to attend. I trust you and Kendall will be heading up here for the day?

Which "10th" are we talking about here?

I make pretty good canoe ballast.

Hey Bulzeye, maybe you, JRW and I should have a
canoe-a-carp-a-shoot-a-thon. I can borrow a canoe from my neighbor. JRW's got one. I have what's-her-name's. We can pick a stretch of the Fox and go. I think this canoe has too much ballast as it is.

June 10th.

Here's a link to the particulars.

http://www.illinoistrad.org/smf/index.php?topic=195.0

The spare seat in my canoe's already taken for the June 10th event. I've arranged for rentals for anyone who needs to do so. Hopefully you guys can make it.

Regardless, any time you want to do a float trip down the Fox just let me know. The stretch between Montgomery and Oswego is absolutely perfect.
