Looks like everyone had a good time. I'm glad everyone was safe.

Just to let you guys know, me and Mark were with you all in spirit. We got to go out and shoot a few for a couple-three hours saturday morning. It was a beautiful day to be on the water.

I finally got to meet Ken Sharp too (deerpredator, belt buckle, hamburgler, etc). Good guy and lots of fun to talk with. Ken, I hope youcan get those cracked limbs replaced and tuned up before the deer season starts in a few weeks.

I hope to see you all again soon.
Hey Bulzeye, it was great to meet you also......I still want to see first hand how someone can take fish as big as you do standind on a bottle top! LOL......

I called Martin first thing Monday morning. They told me that there was a problem at the dipping station for the camo on the limbs. He said it was going on too thick. I e-mailed his some pics of my limbs and he confirmed it was nothing more than the camo film cracking. I asked him if they had the problem rectified and he said they did. There was absolutely no problems with him sending me out some new limbs with a thinner film on them. There on there way!

Just wanted to stop by and say a Big Thankyou to Christine and Kendall for getting me out shooting Carp with them that night. it was my 1st time night time shooting and from a boat.
I HAVE NEVER MISSED SO MANY FISH IN MY LIFE AND HAD SUCH A BLAST DOING IT
I ONLY HIT MY BOW LIMB ON THE BOAT RAILING ONCE....WoHoooooo

AND CHRISTINE ONLY HAD TO PULL MY SHIRT OUT OF MY LOWER CAM ONCE AFTER THE SHIRT ROLLED UP IN THE CAM AFTER THE SHOT ONCE

What can I say I am talented in all the wrong things[:'(]
It was great to meet you Dave and hope all goes well with your move to Texas.

Glad to see you made it over here ScottK. Welcome aboard. We'll get together for sure in the spring if not before. I'll make sure to keep you in the loop when we break the ice at DesPlaines conservation area, among other places.

Ken, glad to hear it's just the finish on your bow that had the prob. you'll end up retuning anyway, but now you have a free spare set of limbs. Kudos to Martin for good customer service.

That's about what it feels like sometimes, and it does get interesting. Keeps me from falling asleep on slow days.

Deb,
HAD TO PULL MY SHIRT OUT OF MY LOWER CAM
I didn't hear about that. That's funny. One of the many bowfishing perils.

Funny how that works. The first time I went fishing with a bow I never hit a fish. And couldn't wait to go back.

Yes, Joanne does so many great thingsfor us.

Hey, you had some great shots. (like the perfectunicorn carp)

Whether your talent is wrong or right.. I'm hoping some of it rubs off on me... 'specially if I can get a buck like this.

Scott, it was great to meet you! Any time your down here in Central IL, let us know. We can hit Clinton, Shelbyville, Evergreen or Dawson Lake.

Hamburgler, I'm proud of you. You may still want to get that GPS though. [8D]

David, you're a heck of a shot. If you weren't going to Texas we'd be trying to get you as part of bowfishing Team CIRFCU.

Hey Christine, Do you still want the lease on that land in Springfield? I am going to switch the lease to my buddies name and you can pay me the $150.00 for my half. He doesn't hunt a lot and will be doing firearm in Champaign. The lease is for a max of 2 people at a time so If you were going to bring someone with you, you would have to make sure that Bill (my current hunting buddy) is not going to be there. I have killed around 20 deer in this spot and the biggest grossed 161 7/8". I would recommend 4 wheel drive or an atv. I have a 2005 kawasaki Bayou 250 for sale if you are interested. The ground is in flood plain and you can shoot carp and gar in the creek!

By the way, what is team CEFCU?
