It is a private lake, but our members are invited.
Great people at Sunset who want the grassie populationcut down a bit.
Use a boat. The shore is all privately owned.

I have walked all the way around the lake staying as close to the water as possible. I did not trample on flowers or tear up landscape. I did not have any upset residents at all. I did however have a resident come up to me and give me advice on how to get em. . They said if you want to get em, you need to feed em.......Dog food....

They've all been real cool with me too, and have been very happy to see us out there. We've just been cautious because you never know if it as all teh residents that are on board with the bowfishing idea, or just the majority.

I would definetly call ahead of time (couple days) and make sure noone's having a backyard party or something when you go. Everyone doesn't like bowfishing like we do (hard to believe, I know). And it is a better idea to have a boat and be out on the water than walking the shore. It's not a big lake, and people aren't use to anyone walking in their yards. You could suprise someone and that might make things difficult for us later on.

Just my 2-cents.

Whenever you can go. We are cleared by the Lake owners to go anytime. (weekdays would probably be best) Give me a call Ken. 309 825-8844

Kendall knows how to get in touch with their homeowner's association.
