May want to look into those lighted reticles. Some people have trouble with them due to a "glare" (for lack of a better term) from the reticle. Some people love them, others, like me, that have highly amplified night vision have trouble with them. The "glare" kind of offsets the aim point. Not to mention, it's just something else to go wrong on the scope. While technology is a wonderful thing sometimes, when hunting, I strongly believe in the K.I.S.S. Theory. Keep It Simple Stupid. The more crap you depend on gives greater odds in something going wrong.

I've used a lighted on for years. I rarely light it up except on a LOW setting at first shooting light.

Great at dawn & dusk...............and when aiming into the shadows.

BTW - If for whatever reason the lighted reticle fails...........it's a black reticle just like your - LOL

Creating a complaint ticket for a spammer means one of the mods will remove the spam and permaban the spammer. Copy/pasting the spammer's post into a post about the spammer then means the same mod then has to edit your copy/paste post which then looks kind of silly and makes twice the work for the mod. Just saying.

Sorry about that Cal! I tell people not to comment and to just send an alert to you like I do a lot and then did it myself, but it was because it was such a goofy one! That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!!! You do have to admit that it was a weird one in that it wasn't selling anything like they usually are. Anyway, you need to earn that big money they're paying you as a Mod, LOL!

Bushnell Elite is pretty hard to beat for the money.

i used Bushnell scope chief from 1963 until 1992. The last was a bdc. A great scope that steadily got less and less dependable. I shipped it to the factory and when it came back it was worse. I spent the money and got a leupold 3-9. The gun went back to being the tack driver it always was. I've never had a problem since. Buy the best burris, nicon, leupold you can afford. Cheap scopes are no bargin.

It's a Chinese made Aim Sport 4-12x and from the start there was tiny "flecks" in the image. I wonder if it's damage or was just a cheap scope from the start. I'm looking into the 1.5-6x Konus Pro with a 30mm tube so I don't have to change the Conetrol rings and base.
The Aim Sports are pretty cheap and I would not rely on them.

I personally have had very good luck with Bushnell Scopes. http://amzn.to/1Vkt0QS

Thanks!
