i used Bushnell scope chief from 1963 until 1992. The last was a bdc. A great scope that steadily got less and less dependable. I shipped it to the factory and when it came back it was worse. I spent the money and got a leupold 3-9. The gun went back to being the tack driver it always was. I've never had a problem since. Buy the best burris, nicon, leupold you can afford. Cheap scopes are no bargin.
