Bow Kill,
I do alot of outdoor hunting, tents, campers, under the stars and mostly with out any heat.I bought a good ground pad and a Coleman mummy bag rated at 10o- and it is light around 3 1/2 Lbs.No regrets so far paid like $50.00 for it at wally world.

I wouldn' t trade my North49 Frontier for any other bag. It' s rated to -25 F., it' s wide and it' s tall and needs a large carrying case. It' s not designed for backpacking, it' s designed for comfort. Cost: about $100.00.

If you get a mummy bag....get into it before you buy it.....I have one & it is so damn tight it almost feels like a body condom!!!!!!!! [:@] Just my humble opinion...[:-]...Brampton Mike [8D]

i would not go below anything rated 10degrees are less. they will be too hot. all mine are at 10 degress. i got away from mummy because it was too hard to toss and turn in them. i now have a wide one and it is much better
