I would never buy another Rocky boot...the soles completely disintegrating after wearing them probably less than 50 times. Cheap cheap low quality boots.
Have Danners now and really like them...still look like new after wearing the for 3 seasons.

Had a pair of Rocky cornstalkers for years..soles fell apart..didnt think much of it...so bought new pair of rockys...soles dry rotted by 2nd season...contacted customer srvice and was told about 6mo warrenty...Danners on my feet now...and Lacross uninsulated early bow/smokepole---1200gram Browning rubber for later season bow---think gonna buy a pair of sorrels pacs for late season....even with good socks and anitperspirant sprayed on feet--Danners cant take 15-20 deg weather

I brought a pair of Danners 400G, and I'm very happy with them down to 20 degrees. Once it gets colder, I may have to buy 800G or 1200G. But for 20 degrees and above, they are very comfortable. Has a few camo patterns on them, not that it's needed.

rubber: lacrosse alphaburly all the way. or irish setter exoflex.
dont wear any other kind. my lacrosse boots have stayed waterproof and toasty warm in the woods on the snowmobile trails and ice fishing hundreds of hours per winter on the frigid st lawrence river, for 4 years now. and i pound them. around the toes and top of the foot and heel are just plain black rubber now (the camo has nearly warn right off) and they are still 100%. they will last me several more years then ill buy another pair.

Personaly i love cabelas leather boots. Sturdy, great soles (Goodyear), well insulated and gortex waterproofed. Outstanding product for the price. I had a pair of guide gear boots produce by rocky that lasted 10 years before the sole fell off. Lacrosse rubber boots are the best available IMO.

In all honesty, danner sucks. I have worn every boot dang near on the market. I put over 200 miles a hunting season, and 300 a year on my boots. Try these www.kenetrek.com
