Dewey Cleaning Rods- Best I have used.
About a year ago I read some articles about gun cleaning and how they recommend a high quality single piece cleaning rod ( and bore guide) to clean rifles with. Well, I searched around and found cal. specific Dewey cleaning rods in the Cabela' s catalog. Ordered one for my 7mm and have like it very much. It' s the best I have seen or used. The rods are nylon coated, thick single piece spring-steel; which eliminates annoying " rod buckle" , and have a ball-bearing handle for smooth cleaning action. Down side- the accessories are hard to find, the Kleen Bore and other brands are NOT interchangable with Dewey rods but, Dewey will wave their $25 min. listed on their web site if you call them (203-264-3064). Good product.
