I am thinking of getting a wall tent for a camping/ hunting set up in an area I can get my 4WD truck to. The area I plan to hunt is public but remote and about an hour and a half from the nearest motel so a tent would save time and gas every day while elk hunting. What are the pros and cons with cottonvs. blend tents? What type of frame, floor and stove would be recommended? What accessories or options would be recommended? My hunting party will be usually 2 to 4 hunters so what size would be manageable. I want something that will withstand the weather we get in the Rockies during September to November. Would Cabelas be a good choice for purchase or are there other better options?
