Could you email me? I wanted to ask you some questions about wall tents.
[email protected].
Thanks,
Sean
For everybody else, what are your setups? I.e. 14x20, w/ stove, floor, ect...

My elk camp consists of two 16'x20' wall tents butted up end to end. One is for cooking the other is for sleeping.
One 12'x14' Tack tent. (horses like warm, dry pads & saddles.)
One 12'x14' Tool tent. The chain saws, lantern gas, propane and bags of hay cubes are in this tent with other odds & ends.
I forgot to mention, I prefer the Montana Canvas wall tents due to there steep roof pitch. This allows you to walk around the tent in most places without ducking your head.

Wolf killer---You bowhunting again this year for elk? elknut1
Infact the only animal I hunt during archery season is elk. I will shoot a deer with my bow if one is too big to pass?elknut1 If you have a elk tag for Montana? You are always welcome in my camp. I have a place for you to hunt that you will fall in love with. Just don't shoot all of the elk.

Wolfkiller---Thanks for the generous offer! Actually I've never been to Montana, always wanted to, but never made it! Where is it you live there? Is it far from where you hunt?
I live in Idaho. A small town called McCall about 100 miles north og Boise. Have you ever been out this way? elknut1

elknut1 I live about five hours east & north of my archery hunting spot. I am guessing it would be a two hour drive from my hunting camp to Salmon Idaho. I archery hunt between Dillion & Wisdom. I have never been to McCall, Idaho. I grew up on the Montana/Idaho border. I have only hunted elk in the Panhandle of Idaho, units 4 & 7.
What unit/units do you hunt in Idaho?

Wolfkiller---I hunt what's called the McCall Zone, it's units 19a-23-24-25. They're huge units at that! I'd like to extend the same offer to you, you're more than welcome to come by if you're in our neck of the woods! I'll even let you call for me!
If I'm ever fortunate enough to be down your way I'll look you up! elknut1
I wanted to say I was in Salmon last year and it's a different world out that way compared to the McCall area.

wolf killer, my hats off to you. That sound like an amazing camp set up. I have
been looking at the Montana Canvas also

I am the only archery hunter out of the bunch. I only take one tent with me when I archery hunt. I figure this would help save our friendships.
