I am considering converting my D cell MagLight to an LED, using one of the 3 watt LED cartridges available at Wally World. Anybody use these, or have any recommendations for or against?

I was going to try one but they are kinda expensive so I didnt. My girlfriend did get me some led flashlights for christmas. It was a two pack from qvc. They are made by dorcy and they are really bright. They were $20.00 for two of them, good price and they work very well
sorry i couldnt be much help with the other led's

I suggest going to Sears (best place I found that had them) and buying a Xenon Maglite bulb. I bought them for my mag lights and work great and are only $4. These bulbs add tons of candlepower to your maglite and gives a nice white light too. Also adds an hour battery life. Heres maglites thing about it.
