Does Redfield make a good quality scope?

I HAVE A REDFIELD ON MY 270 AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH IT. IVE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.

I purchased a redfield 3x9x40 scope to go on a savage 114cu in 7mm rem mag using redfield mounts. I purchased this gun and scope in 1995. I took the gun out of its case to check the zero just before gun season and fired 2 shots at 100 yards. Both bullet holes were touching each other and were dead center. Redfields are sturdy and clear. I would not trade this scope for anything.
