Does anyone know who manufactures the Redfield line of scopes. I was courious to see what their light transmition and quality is like for the Redfield Low-Profile Widefield Scopes with Truplex TV Oval Reticle. It gievs a nice wide field of view which would be nice foe thick cover.

Redfield is owned by BLOUNT Inc who also own Weaver Simmions RCBS RAM-LINE Federal CCI/SPEER and Outers. I have one of the new redfield 5 stars 6X18 and really like it I also have old type widefields that work great but havnt tried the new ones yet.
