cold hands
#11
In cold weather I'd suggest getting yourself a handwarmer
that goes around your waist. I use one of the large
"Hot Hands" and also wear a pair of liner gloves
made from Thermastat to wick moisture...my hands never
get cold and I can still feel my anchor and release
when bowhunting.
Other than the handwarmer, you can't beat a good pair
of mittens for warmth. I have a pair of Cabela's Big
Game Mittens (w/300 grams Thinsulate), along w/my
liner gloves they work great. I'm not sure if they are
still available, as I've had mine for several years.
Good Luck

The biggest problem with both hands and feet is moisture, the polypropoline liners are by far the best option with good wool glomits (mitten with the flip top). Additional advice would be strech out the fingers and wrist of whatever glove you buy because it cuts circulation off. Use Chunky soup cans for the wrist and either large dowl rods cut in 4 inch sections for the fingers making sure they are a little thicker than your finger as this will allow for better circulation. The same thing for your socks using large diameter PVC tube will improve circulation. Make sure if you used polypropoline liners on your feet and hands to do the same thing to strech out the liners.

Another idea that I use is to buy a dozen or so of those women's one size fits all cotton gloves that you get about a dime a pair at Target/Wal-mart etc. They fit close so you can get your finger on the trigger and the cut down on wind and moisture. You can probably get better gloves but for a dime. What the H E double hockey sticks.
