How do the wild hogs taste?

I really haven't noticed much of a difference in the taste based on the size or sex of the pig. I've shot a 200+ boar that tasted fine and I've shot a 50lb young female that tasted fine. I soak all of them in brine for 4 or 5 days before I butcher them though.

I love wild hog, When i was about 12 i shot a 400 pound wild hog. I couldn't stand it, it was really tough. I like getting 'em just over 100 pounds.
When i get one I just gut it, skin it and put the rest in the smoker for a little over a day ( Cold smoking is my fav.).
