Default wild hog taste??

Just a question but how does a wild hog taste compared to a farm raised hog??? I'd like to go on a hog hunt someday and just wondered about this.

The tenderness could be taken care of if I hang it to season it I guess. I just didn't know if the taste was any different. Thank's.

Hanging a hog is not a really good idea.

This is some of the best tasting wild meat you can hunt! I have yet to eat a hog that did not taste really good.

If you're a pork eater, you may even think they tastebetter than store bought. And they are a lot more fun to 'shop' for!!!

That's what I like to hear! I love me some pork!!! My dad, brother and I were planning on going on a wild hog hunt down in Tenn using our bows a few years back but my dad has bad knee's and my brother moved to Kansas so I don't see it happening. I would like to do it someday though.

I most certainly think the meat is of better quality and taste than store bought; as long as you keep after those meat pigs.

Pork is not improved by hanging and there is a good chance it will spoil.
