In your response to my post about the Minnesota pigs, you wrote that in Texas you'd consider the piglets to be groceries.
Um, how would you prepare an 18-20 pound piglet, other than as a ham sandwich? These guys are awfully little- we weighed the three we caught and they were between 7.5-9 pounds each.
I am guessing we will feed the first three out and butcher them when they are grown, but we might have to shoot the rest of the litter if we can't catch them soon- they are really tearing up the corn field. I just hate to "waste" them.

Sounds like great bbq critters! If you have pigs/hogs and they are tearing stuff up...shooting them isn't a waste! There's going to be more so shoot away before they get out of hand!20 pounders split them dig a pit build a fire and invite friends over!

I think I must now take out the little 8 pounder I got. It will nestle snugly in a pan with potataoes. you guys are not allowed to show photos like this. It is why I have a slim runway model figure.

BTW, I went back to eating fast food, I've gained 40 of what I lost back. I haven't had a chance to hunt much this year, but it ain't over yet... I'll be back modelingT-backsbefore you know it..
