Default Hog Outfitter Recommendations

Hi guys,

Well looks like I'm going to finally goon a hog hunt. I'll be heading out with my nephew and a couple of good friends. We're looking to book the trip for next Febuary in South Carolina and we have narrowed the outfitters down to Cypress Creek Hunting Club, Deerfield Plantation,Paradise Valley Hunting Club, and Waccamaw Hunting Club not in that order.

Meals would be nice but not necessary. No smoking indoors a must. And a limited amount of hunters on the premises preffered.

Can anyone help us with recommendations of using or staying away from any or all of these. Either post here or e-mail me.

Thanks to all that answer ............... Joe

308sniper,

Thanks for the reply but it took 4 of us quite some time to agreeto those I've listed. I don't want to start researching again and discussing it again. I bet that this isthe hardest part of the hunt!

Thanks again for the reply ............. Joe

Thanks to all that took the time to answer. We made our decision and we sent a deposit to Waccamaw for NEXT Febuary. Can't hardly wait!

My next question which I'll post in the muzzloader section also is this. I'm going to be hunting with a T/C.50cal Omega. I've been using up north on Whitetail with 2 pellets (100gr) of pyrodex and the hornady 300gr sst bullet. Is this a good combo for hog or should I use 3 pellets (150gr). I also want to use my .44 mag. Ruger Redhawk if I get lucky enough to get a shot at a second hog (we'll be there for 3 days).Any recommendations on ammothat should work? I should also mentionthat all huntingwill befrom a tree stand.

Thanks again in advance to all that take the time to answer .......... Joe
