Pistols - Can't we all just get along?

I have first hand experience with a Beretta failing
I had a remanufactured piece of ammo blow my 92 apart in a casehead failure. Amazing thing is that I gathered up the pieces, put it back together, and its good as new. I've seen a lot of pictures of Kaboomed Glocks- none of them will ever function again.

I shoot Ruger pistols now. They are not pretty or real smoot but I have about 15000 rounds through five Rugers in Three calibers. So far not a single malfunction with any of them. Hand loads, factory loads, wad cutter, fmj's or hollow points. I have had Sigs, Berettas, Taurus, Colt, S&W, Star, CZ's Auto Ords's Springfields, All the older Glocks, Brownings and HK's. For the most part when cleaned and cared for they all worked as I expected them to. However none of them does the job I need done better than the Ruger and the Ruger for the most part does it for a lot less of my hard earned money. As you can tell by this post, I like them all.

The Springfield XD will be the new Glock. Because it is a glock and a half, in effect taking the best of the 1911 and glock and putting them together.
